The uEye XC is an industrial camera with the simplicity of a webcam. Setting up and operating the camera only requires a cable connection. After that, the autofocus camera with the 13 MP onsemi sensor AR1335 immediately delivers high-resolution, detailed images and videos. With the quickly exchangeable macro lens, you can easily shorten the minimum object distance of the camera. This makes it suitable for close-up applications, for example in medical technology.

Unlike consumer webcams, the uEye XC camera is designed for industrial use. Its components score with long availability - a must for industrial applications. Useful features such as digital zoom, auto white balance and colour correction ensure that you can capture all details perfectly. If required, you can program the USB3 Vision industrial camera specifically for your application with IDS peak, the powerful software development kit from IDS. If you choose a model with UVC protocol (USB Video Class), you will benefit from the typical webcam "plug&play" without the need for additional drivers.

Highly versatile autofocus camera
The uEye XC is characterised by its particularly elegant and lightweight magnesium housing. With dimensions of only 32 x 61 x 19 mm (W x H x D), it is compact, sturdy despite its light weight and absolutely suitable for industrial use. Its 13 MP onsemi sensor delivers 20 fps at full resolution and, thanks to BSI technology, can easily handle changing light conditions. Available with USB3 and UVC (USB Video Class) as well as in a convenient starter set with accessories.

Up close: The combination of the 13 MP autofocus camera and practical macro lens enables you to inspect objects with high precision. Visualise the smallest details at close range from just a few centimetres - like here from 1.5 cm on a section of a 50 Euro note that is only a few millimetres in size. This makes the camera ideal for tasks in quality assurance or in the life science sector.
So much to discover: The autofocus camera automatically focuses on the intended subject and thus ensures a perfect distance setting. Here, the example shows the inside of a window (4 cm away from the camera), the outside of a window (8 cm), a cup placed on a facade projection (20 cm) and the surroundings (infinity). If necessary, the focus can also be controlled by software.
